Hi! I’m Susy Markoe Schieffelin.

I am a Los Angeles based sound healer, Kundalini yoga teacher, Karuna Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki master, sobriety coach, and the founder of The Sound Healer’s Academy. After years of suffering from anxiety, alcoholism, and addiction, I experienced an incredible transformation that released me from darkness and led me to a radiant, abundant, and joyful life. I want to share this path towards light with you.

I lead deeply restorative crystal alchemy sound bath meditations, monthly moon ceremonies, and transformational group healing programs virtually and in person. My sound baths have been viewed or attended by millions of people all over the world and described as "other worldly" and "a mind-blowing experience that is a must for people new to meditation." I have shared this path towards healing with employees at companies such as Google, YouTube, Pandora, ALO, and Nordstrom, and have played crystal bowls with notable artists including LeAnn Rimes and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. My work has been featured in publications such as WSJ, VOGUE, USA TODAY, and Los Angeles Times.  

I have trained and mentored hundreds of sound healers and am the founder of The Sound Healer’s Academy, a 3-month virtual crystal alchemy sound healing certification training and business mentorship that offers practical knowledge, resources, and tools for healers who want to be successful in the healing space. Training, mentoring, and supporting other teachers and healers in building their own spiritually-aligned businesses is my passion. I love watching my mentee’s inner light expand as they step into their highest purpose and share that light with others.

My sound healing certification training, group healing and mentorship programs, moon ceremonies, and sound baths all offer a custom blend of ancient wisdom, traditional modalities, practical guidance, and modern tools designed to empower you to rediscover your inner light and embody your unique gifts.
