Ananda had been a dedicated practitioner and teacher of Kundalini Yoga as taught by the Kundalini Research Institute since 2006. In April 2020, life shifted his trajectory and he fell in love with the Sattva Yoga tradition. He completed a 300hr teacher training along with an 18 day, 60 hour course on the Bhagavad Gita just outside Risikesh, India. Both were taught by Anand Mehrotra, a himalayan yogic master who has profoundly inspired him on the yogic path.
In addition to his BA in international and sustainable business, Ananda has a minor in East Asian Religions and studied yogic philosophy at the University of Oregon and the Dharmalaya (2003-2009).
He is a self taught singer, guitarist, harmonium player and bansuri flautist. He's well known for his collaborations with Jaya Lakshmi. Together they have released 16 albums and toured nationally.

+ Do I need any instruments for this training?
Yes, you must have at least 3 crystal bowls to attend this training. Other instruments are optional. Depending on which type of bowls you choose, you should budget at least $1,000. A set of 3 Frosted Quartz Bowls will be around $1,000. A set of 3 Alchemy Crystal Bowls would start at around $3,000. You can also mix and match the two types of bowls depending on your budget. Once you enroll in TSHA, we can connect you with our mentors who sell bowls and can assist you with exact pricing and options. They also offer a special discount to TSHA students when they purchase a set of 3 or 5 bowls.
+ Is this training virtual?
Yes! This training is entirely virtual. Live calls will be held on Zoom and pre-recorded videos and other resources will be easily accessible in your TSHA Portal. You will have access to all recordings for one full year.

This Mini Course is a great way to prepare for training and get a head start on the business and technology aspect of sound healing. You’ll also receive access to all previous Master Class recordings to dive into (invaluable!) and early access to The Copper Vessel Collective, our monthly sound healing membership, to begin experiencing personal healing and working toward your certification hours.
+ Do I need prior experience with music or as a healer to take this training?
No! This program will teach you the basics of music theory, the fundamentals of sound and energy healing AND how to start your own wellness business sharing sound healing. If you already have experience with sound healing, read the next FAQ.
+ I already have experience as a sound healer. Should I still consider this training?
Absolutely!! This cutting-edge training will present sound healing, energy healing, and meditation in a way that you likely have not studied or encountered it before. Furthermore, this training has a strong business component that will teach you valuable branding and marketing skills that can help you expand your existing sound healing practice into a 6-figure business. Susy has trained sound healers with 10+ years of experience who found her trainings to be unique and life-changing. The level of accountability and support offered in this training is unrivaled.
+ What if I miss a live call?
While we encourage you to attend as many live calls as possible, all calls will be recorded and uploaded into the training portal within 24 hours. There are 6 live training calls that we strongly suggest you attend live. If you are not able to join these calls live or need to leave early, we ask that you watch the call recording by the end of the week in order to stay on track with training material. Live attendance at Office Hours and Master Class calls is also strongly suggested, but is not mandatory.

+ What is your refund policy?
This program has the potential to truly change your life. Over the 3 month period that we meet, things will come up: challenges, obstacles, feelings, LIFE. This program is designed to help you lay the foundation for an empowered life as a sound healer. The Sound Healer’s Academy team and community will hold, support, and guide you through the ups and the downs, the joys and the challenges of that journey. No refunds will be given once training has begun. That being said, we understand that life happens. Should your circumstances change, up to two weeks (14 days) before the start of training (our first Welcome and Orientation Call), we will gladly refund your tuition or transfer your enrollment to the next training class.
